Purpose & Need

The current kitchen uses LPG cylinders and traditional solid-fuel stoves, creating indoor air pollution, fire risk, and recurring fuel costs. Converting to electric induction cooking powered by the campus solar system will eliminate these hazards and reduce long-term operating costs.

What the Project Does

Replaces all LPG and solid-fuel cooking equipment with commercial-grade induction cooktops, electric steamers, and associated infrastructure. The kitchen is designed to be powered by the campus solar-plus-BESS system (Project 02).

ESG Impact

E: Eliminates LPG combustion and associated CO₂/particulate emissions. S: Dramatically improves kitchen worker health and safety. G: Energy consumption data published monthly.

CSR Opportunity

High-visibility project suitable for a flagship CSR partnership. Component sponsorship available for individual equipment items. Naming opportunity on the kitchen.
