Purpose & Need
The campus depends on municipal water supply, which is intermittent and increasingly scarce. Harvesting and purifying rainwater will reduce dependence on external supply and ensure clean drinking water year-round.
What the Project Does
Installs rooftop rainwater collection channels, underground storage tanks, and a filtration and purification system to deliver potable water to the campus. Overflow is directed to groundwater recharge pits.
ESG Impact
E: Reduces municipal water consumption and supports groundwater recharge. S: Ensures clean water access for the community. G: Water quality test results published quarterly.
CSR Opportunity
Full project adoption available at ₹2 Lakh. Suitable for CSR themes around water conservation, WASH, or community infrastructure.
Beneficiaries
Temple staff, volunteers, and the 500+ daily visitors who consume water on the campus.
Transparency & Accountability
Water quality test reports and storage volume data will be published. Construction milestones documented with photographs.
